Happy 5 Months!

My baby is 5 months old today! Where has the time gone?

Here are some stats:

Weight: around 14.5lbs

Height: unknown (I didn't measure :)

Favorite Foods: Only breastmilk, though I am going to start some rice cereal when we get back from Minneapolis

Favorite Toys: links, jumperoo, jungle play gym

New Developmental Milestones: rolling over (mostly back to front), laughing, grabbing at everything, tasting everything, teething (none broken through yet)

Hours of Sleep at Night: ~7-8hrs

Hours of Sleeping During the Day: ~7-8hrs

Favorite Color: blue and green

Loves: standing up

Hates: taking a nap in the evening

Loves: Looking around at EVERYTHING

Not Me! Monday

I do not have the same New Year's resolutions that I have every year; get back in shape, eat healthier, keep the house cleaner. Nope not me! Once I make a resolution, I always stick with them.

Even though my baby is going about 8 hrs in between feedings at night, I do not feel like I could sleep for days. Not me! I was not up from 11:30-12:40 last night listening to Jacob cry.

I am not planning my big outing for the day of going to the grocery store. Nope, my days are always pack filled fun and adventure, not consisting of boring thing like grocery shopping as the big excitement. Not me!

Me and Sid

This is one of our first gymnastics meets. I was 9 or 10 years old and Sidney was 7 or 8 (she is the one with the glasses)




For christmas, my fabulous husband converted all the VHS gymnastics videos onto the computer. He spent countless hours editing my meets together and made one of just me starting from when I was 9 yrs old through college.

Not Me! Monday

What a better way to start out the year than with a Not Me! Monday.

I certianly did not stay up until 12:49 last night reading mostly knowing that I would be up around 4:30-5:30am to feed Jacob. Not me! I always go to sleep when my baby is sleeping and get plenty of rest.

I do not have big plans for new year cleaning (including cleaning the microwave and mopping the floors) but have yet to do anything about it. Not me! I did not spend most of the weekend relaxing on the couch reading a book when I should have been cleaning the house. Nope. Not me!

I have not been craving cheese lately and having a before bedtime snack of cheddar cheese cut into small cubes, cause it just tastes better cubed.
