Welcome Baby Noah

Tuesday evening we welcomed our newest tiny baby, Noah Rogers Jenson, into this world. It was a scheduled c-section that went as planned. He was born at 5:41pm. Noah's first apgar score was 5 followed by 8 which gave him a ticket to the nursery for an hour or two to be monitored. He swallowed a bit of fluid on his way out which lead him to be a bit blue and not moving upon delivery but quickly came around with a little bit of jostling. He is so cute and perfect and sweet. 6 lbs 11oz and 18.5 inches long. He is so tiny and skinny. (Jacob was 6lbs 4oz, 19inches and Evie was 6lbs 8oz and 18.5inches)

Our first night was pretty good. Noah gave us a few good stretches of sleep (wish I could say the same for the nurses, blood draw, doctors, and everyone else who came into our room). I wish I could say the same for the second night in which he was pretty fussy and was a totally different baby. We barely got any sleep until around 5:30am when he finally burped, and then we were all able to get some sleep. I had a bit of a melt down that morning after being exhausted and in pain. But was finally able to get a few hours of rest and felt much better. We were discharged yesterday and got home around 9pm last night. Noah was pretty fussy for the first half of the night but after feeding at 2:30am, he slept until 4am, ate and then slept until 10am! And so did we.
Jacob and Evie had been spending time with Grandma and Grandpa and Jacob has been very sick. They took him in to see the doctor to find out he has a double ear infection and an eye infection. After starting antibiotics he is already feeling much better. They both come home this evening and didn't pay much attention to their little brother. Jacob says baby and gave him a kiss. Evie, when she actually focus' and sees Noah will smile and laugh a little.

I am doing well, as well as can be expected. I am having more pain this time around then I remember the last 2 times. I trying to take it easy and rely on Devin. We we had a nice quite day and got a little extra sleep. Now gearing up for the day to day with 3 kiddo's.
Here are some pics of the newest little Jenson:

38 Weeks

38 weeks and some odd days, almost 39 weeks. I am ready to have this baby. I was really hoping that the baby would come on it's own by like today, but looks like this baby isn't coming on its own. Our c-section got bumped up to the 27th at 5:30pm. Looking forward to meeting our baby sooner but not looking forward to not being able to eat or drink all day. We still don't have names picked out, though we do have bags packed. Just waiting for the 27th!

Evie is 15 Months

Our baby girl is 15months old already.

Here is what our Evie is up too:

She has an ear infection and is on antibiotics.

Weight:  21 lbs, 4oz (25th %tile)

Height: 28.75 inches (8th %tile)

She has 5 teeth.  2 middle bottom, 2 middle top and top left

She is an eater.  She out eats Jacob just about every meal.  Her favorites include: PB&J, grapes, raisin's, graham crackers, milk, pears, peas, oatmeal.

She is a Daddy’s girl and goes right to him when he comes home from work and cries if he passes by or if I take her from him.

She is walking well and trying to walk fast.  She tries to jump.  She tries to do everything Jacob does (and he does everything she does).  They have started “chasing” each other and they laugh and laugh and laugh.  They play ring-around-the-rosie together too.

She still takes 2 naps a day still and sleeps about 12 hours at night.

She doesn’t really have any words.  She kind of says dada, kitty cat, uh-oh, hi.  She gives high fives and waves.  She signs more and drink.

She likes her shoes and if she sees them, will bring them over to be put on.

She easily goes up and down the stairs and tries to climb on anything she can.
