A Monkey and a Ladybug

We celebrated Halloween dressing up as a monkey and a ladybug.  We took advantage of Microsoft’s Halloween festivities.  They had a train ride, professional photographer, a haunted house (which we didn’t partake in), and trick-or-treating a plenty.  After that, we headed to my parents for our traditional apple cider and homemade doughnuts.  Yum!

Remlinger Fall Festival

On Thursday I met my MOPS group at Remlinger Farm in Carnation.  It was a great fall festival and we will definitely be going back in subsequent years.  Jacob was a bit too small to do some of the things.  They had a train ride around the property, a barn with animals, fair rides, old fire engine/tractors/school bus for the kids to climb on and “drive”, a hay maze and hay jump, and a pumpkin.  It was great.  Check out the pictures.

Fox Hallow Family Farm

A few weeks ago we visited the Fox Hallow Family Farm, along with the rest of the Eastside and Seattle thanks to a Groupon deal.

It was a cute little farm with some fun kid things, but there were way too many people and the farm wasn’t really equipped to handle that many people (in my opinion.)   We still had fun though.  Here are some pics.DSC05697
