Baby Girl Update

Had a doctor's appointment today, however just when I got there the doctor got called out to a delivery so I saw the nurse practitioner. Because of that, I didn't get to schedule the c-section yet. They should call me next week to schedule it.

Everything is checking out great. I passed the glucose test. :) I got the rogam shot. :(
Baby's heart rate was ~130. I am measuring 28.5cm, a little big for 27 weeks, interesting since baby was measuring small 10-30th %tile.

That's about it.

Weekly Update

How far along? 27 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: + 18lbs

Sleep: waking in the middle of the night and being awake for an hour or two. Frustrating.

Best moment this week: Just feeling the baby moving all over the place, all the time.

Movement: Feeling kicks all day

Food cravings: fruit, fruity candy, milk, water, chocolate

Gender: It's a GIRL!

Belly Button in or out? getting flatter, the top ridge is poking out. I think it might poke out this time.

What I miss: being able to hold Jacob with out a leg or arm or foot jabbing into my belly.

What I am looking forward to: scheduling the c-section at our next doctor's appointment, Thursday!

Baby Development: Baby is now over 2lbs and about 15 inches head to foot. Our baby now had more taste buds now than she will ever have.

Things I've heard this past week: (Not that people are intending to be rude or mean...) Woman: "How far along are you?" Me: "26 weeks" Woman: "You are going to be huge". Me (in my head): Ummmm, thanks?

till next week....

Kooza

Can I just say, "I love, love, love Cirque du soleil!" Well, I do and it's my blog so I can say whatever I like.

Devin and I just got back from seeing "Kooza" at Marymoore Park. It was excellent as all the shows are. I think this is my 7th show. I've seen 3 at Marymoore Park and 4 in Vegas if you count seeing "O" twice. I give "O" a hands down 10 out of 10. In my opinion it's the best cirque show. You should all see it in Vegas at the Bellagio. It's worth every penny. I give "Kooza" a 7 out of 10.

The thing that always gets me is the crazy stuff they come up with. I mean seriously how do they come up with this stuff. One arm handstands on chairs 30 feet in the air, a guy on a unicycle carrying and flipping another woman while riding, flips on stilts off the teeterboard.

I think it would be so fun to be in cirque. I'm a circus wanna be. Remember this trapeze class. Maybe someday, I'll run away with the circus. Just kidding! But it would be fun.
