Geocaching

We have had fun getting into geocaching recently.  We have been "treasure hunting" five times and are 5 for 5 in finding the treasure.  The kids enjoy it, especially Jacob, but are often disappointed when the treasure doesn't contain toys.  Here are a few of our outings.

Three

Our little Noah is three.  How did that happen?

He is still our tiny little guy but don't let his little size fool you.  He is a little spit fire, full of personality.  Always looking for a laugh, always ready to play, and of course will climb on anything that could possible be climbed even if you didn't know it could be climbed.

He will talk and talk and talk your ear off in the most cute high pitched voice.  He likes to be loud, all the time.  He loves to be with mommy, wherever I am, all the time, except bedtime, he always wants daddy to put him to bed.  When he holds your hand he just holds onto your pinky finger.

He loves cars, Nerf guns, anything Jacob and Evie are doing.  He loves to play games, especially hide-n-seek.  And enjoys being outside following after Jacob and Evie.

He is a pretty good eater.  His favorites include spaghetti and meatballs, French fries, blueberries, waffles or pancakes, peanut butter and jam sandwiches.

He is taking swimming lessons.  He can a ride a tricycle and can ride a bike with training wheels but hasn't quite figured out how to really go yet.

He is fully potty trained!

We love this little guy so much.  Can't imagine our lives without him.

Christmas Countdown

On November 25th, I told the kids there were 30 days until Christmas.  The next day after breakfast Jacob stated there were now 29 days until Christmas and decided he needed a Christmas countdown (Thank you Curious George).

So he drew one and hung it up in his room.

He then promptly decided everyone needed a Christmas countdown in their room and made one for everyone and taped it in everyone's room

And since the next day was Thanksgiving, he drew a turkey on the number 28.  And a Christmas tree on number 1.

He has been faithfully x-ing out yesterday's number and circling todays number.
This kid LOVES numbers!
