Throwing in the Towel

Sad to say, after a few weeks, I have finally thrown in the towel. We are back in diapers, done potty training (for now).

He did great for the first five weeks or so....saying yes or no if asked, and going if he answered yes. Sometimes just going on his own, of course never telling us, but for the most apart, accident free. Until about two weeks ago when the response to "do you need to go" changed to "I don't want to" and then peeing without care. I decided to institue potty times and that worked but it was sometimes a struggle to get him to sit on the potty and if I wasn't totally dilligent about it he would still pee without care. I was starting to get frustrated cleaning up everything, so I am giving up. I am sad about it because we came so far and I hate to go back but we have. I have thrown in the towel on potty training for now.
