Kelsey Creek Farm Tour

A friend from my MOPs group and also from our Co-op organized a farm tour of Kelsey Creek Farm.  The kids got to see and pet a pony, watch 2 baby pigs eat pumpkins, help make the "beds" for the pony and a cow, and take pictures in the indoor "pumpkin patch".

First Day of School

I know, I know.  The first day of school was weeks ago, but I am finally getting around to posting.
We are homeschooling this year, Jacob (kindergarten) and Evie (preschool). 

Here are pictures I took the day I decided to "start" Kindergarten. 

Our Co-op started the next week and here are pictures from before our first day.

The Other Party

Since the weekend after the kids birthday party was back into the 80's, we decided to throw an impromptu slip-n-slide/pool party.  The weather was perfect.  The kids had a blast.

The Birthday Party

The party was planned for outside at our house.  Slip-n-slide, pool, water guns, and other water related activities.  This summer has been so nice with weather in the 80's leading up to the party.  (and for weeks after)

Yet as the day of the party drew near the forecast continued to look gloomier and gloomier with rain and highs in the 60's.  Not quite ideal for a water party, we decided to find an inside venue Giggles and Grins at the last minute. The kids had a blast.  What a fun place.
